Good Morning my lovelies,
I woke up to the most beautiful sunrise – well, actually I didn’t. It was still pitch black when my alarm went off at 4 am. BUT, once the sun did finally rise, she did it very gracefully today. And just as the sun kissed my temples, i have decided to dedicate the entire day to myself and pamper. And we’re doing the full program: hair, nails, skin, face and body. I am also going to make a part two, where I’ll show you a bunch of detoxifying meals because pampering yourself also includes the gut health, in my opinion. But before we start today, I am going to go on a run.
Yogurt has lactic acids, which is actually great for cleansing the scalp and clearing away dead skin cells to help your hair follicles grow. Honey is a humectant, it attracts and retains moisture in your hair and an emollient, helping to soften and smoothen, which I didn’t even know!
Honey, which has natural antibacterial properties, is rich in antioxidants that can help reduce inflammation in skin. Combine it with hydrating olive oil, and you’ve got yourself a moisturising mask.
I don’t need to repeat myself a third time. The rich antioxidants in honey and hydrating properties are perfect for glowing skin all over your body. The sugar is going to help you exfoliate, by removing dead skin cells from your body, leaving your skin super soft and moisturised!
I know I feel so much better now after all those masks, perfect to start the week fresh and good-looking 😛
