Spooky October – Bullet Journal

Happy Weekend everyone,

yesterday I saw the sun for the first time in a week again! I was very excited. Gotta love fall. I also had pizza for dinner and watched Hotel Transylvania 3 in french with my host family. It was a good day, can’t complain.

I am about to have breakfast, which you guys might remember if you have read my last post, is my favourite meal of the day. But before that I want to share my Bullet Journal Spread for October with you!

It is pumpkin and Halloween season! Therefore it only felt right to add some orange colours and lots of pumpkins! Although I am still adapting to the lack of sunshine during this season I have to say it still is my favourite. Temperatures are dropping but not too low yet, the leaves are changing colours and outside campfires with thick blankets are becoming a thing now. In my Journal, I did not add too much decoration regarding Halloween but I snazzed up my pumpkins a little bit I added little faces to them. A common style seen by the artists like ‘furrylittlepeach’ on instagram or youtube.

For the month of October I tried something a little different. I tried out a so called dutch door layout. You do this by cutting one page in the middle, which leaves you with a little paper flap. You can kind of see it in the first picture above. This layout maximises the space because you have your days and than you can add your weekly events, habit trackers, etc. on each side. I am quite enjoying this layout, it is always fun trying out new things! As for decorations I sketched little pumpkins around the page with a black pen to add some contrast. Each date also has a little pumpkin around them and the actual days I wrote down in orange first before overlaying them with a black marker also. For final touches I added little stars around the whole page to make it look more cute and put together.

I am quite happy with how this layout turned out. Other than that I hope you guys are doing well and you will here from me next Tuesday. Bye Bye.
