I love change – as you might have gotten from my recent blog post! I love how people change, how the seasons change, how I change. I guess I love change so much because when something in my life stays the same for too long I get the feeling of being stuck in the same place – and I hate that.

Having lived with myself for a little over 17 years now, I realised I am a bit like the weather. With every new season I have the need to change as well. Unfortunately I can’t afford to change my style every few months and I am quite the scaredy-cat when it come to my hair with trying out new styles or colours (I’d really love to try some crazy colour someday). Besides my daily recipes, that change more or less weekly, or my handwriting, which changes on a daily basis, there is not too much I can change in my life every season – except for my room!

My room, my cave, my little humble abode – the only place in my life where I have free creativity possibilities with no limits. And when I say no limits I mean no limits! Since I was a little girl I would rearrange my furniture, hang up different coloured sheets to replicate a painted wall and later on I would have walls in all different colours! We also moved a lot so whenever I felt like my canvas, my room, reached its maximum potential I got a new room to experiment with! Unfortunately I don’t have any pictures from back then and am therefore unable to show my crazy looking room in different stages.

I will start a series on my blog where I will post a new room transformation every month or so, starting today! I hope you are as excited as I am!
